I started my practice as a "Sobadora" (therapeutic massage therapist)in the early 90s and became a fitness nutrition coach and boot camp trainer for women in 2005. I started the very first women's outdoor fitness boot camp in the Tri Valley area of the East Bay Area in California after 15 years I wanted to offer more so I decided to take my business online to help more women in a more intuitive way.
I love sharing and teaching. My practice addresses wellness as a whole in mind, body, spirit, and wellness. I teach active intuitive BIPOC women from all walks of life, all genders, really all women looking for a more intuitive healthy lifestyle and want to learn ancestral medicine/wellness for more embodiment. I have created a community that encompasses this through my online Pueblo and Calmecac (community and learning institute)The Native Shift join us for community, networking and education its FREE to join! Creating a holistic approach to living a healthy happy lifestyle inspired by native practices and ancestral wellness to continue to preserve the lineage and our oral traditions while helping others along the way.
Things I Love The outdoors, kayaking, hiking, indigenous wellness, nature wellness, music, dancing, teaching/coaching, spending time with my family and friends, my cultures, pow wows, meditation, yoga, holistic healing and rituals. Energy and body work, a great yummy healthy meal and foraging for natural plants/herbs for cooking. When I'm not being a workaholic I am outdoors enjoying the many amazing places around the San Francisco Bay Area and our country. I LOVE any body of water, the forest for earthing and forest bathing and my FAVORITE place anywhere there is a beach.
My Beliefs I believe finding "BALANCE" is not the goal of becoming, but creating "HARMONY" is. This is what we seek within all areas of life and living mindfully with intent, purpose and embodiment is the key.
In native traditions we practice everything with an intent, purpose and ceremony as we make an offering of gratitude whether it is a tangible offering or spiritual offerings through our thoughts, dreams, and emotions to Creator. We give thanks and try to make daily habits that include sacred space, commanding the day/night and self embodiment care. We use the four directions and elements of nature because we believe that they are directly related to our existence. In the traditions if you are not honoring Mother Earth, the elements, cycles of the universe our own personal "Sacred Garden" (mind, body, spirit) then you are not living at your highest potential.
We believe that we can be and are our own healer. We use the elements to empower us and the cycles of the moon to guide us. Mother Earth we use for Grounding, Air we use for calmness and cleansing. We use our Breathing practices our sacred Winds. Fire is directly related to our most precious asset our Energy. Water gives us Life and vitality. Water is a conduit for our life energy and the most important element, without it we cannot exist. Fire is directly related to our most precious asset our Energy. We use the Sun (Tonal) Energy to recharge ourselves and give us the strength to embrace daily life. We use the Power of the Moon and ancient practices to empower our dreams shifting our mindset, our subconscious as we dream plant and manifest our lives into reality.
My Practice Ancestral native practices and wellness combined with modern day wellness to provide a practice that encompasses Mind, Body, Spirit and Wellness.
